About:
Broken Clouds brings fresh perspectives and diversity to the theme of love, shot in association with TABO Media Productions, starring aspiring actors Gaurav Singh and Liora Kats. Broken Clouds has been invited by the California Film Foundation to screen on TV/online on their exclusive channel under "CFF Presents" as part of the California International Film Festival 2025. The story follows two coworkers who accidentally get locked in a walk-in refrigerator and must confront their buried feelings for each other as their chances of escape grow thin.
Director’s Statement:
Broken Clouds is not about two people drawn together by love—it is You vs. You. The self you aspire to become against the self you truly are. It is about the fragile reconciliation we must attempt within ourselves for any transformation to happen.

About
Horns marks Pranesh’s directorial debut—a short film under five minutes that explores darker themes, starring upcoming actors Roosevelt Green and Najee Joyner. It went on to become an official selection at the Another Hole in the Head International Film Festival 2025. It was nominated at the Next Up Festival 2025 (Academy of Art University-level fest) in April 2025. After hearing strange cries in their apartment, a man desperately tries to calm his best friend, but as panic sets in, it becomes clear that the voices aren’t the only things haunting them.
Director’s Statement
“Accept yourself, or you might end up growing Horns.” It’s a meditation on fear and memory that dares to linger after the screen fades to black. As a director, I invite audiences into the chaotic, internal spaces of the human mind—even those they may not have dared to enter alone.

Working under the title The Red Meat Soup, Pranesh’s upcoming short film project is currently in pre-production, with the final draft of the script completed. This Horror-Thriller project explores the themes of freedom, authority, and the dangerous consequences of unchecked individualism.
Through the story of a self-centered filmmaker whose reckless road trip takes a deadly turn when he stumbles upon a remote restaurant run by a psychotic enforcer, the film confronts a disturbing idea — that when freedom is exercised without accountability, it begins to mirror the very control it resists.

Infected is Pranesh’s upcoming feature film, currently under development. This project explores themes of addiction, the unpredictable consequences of drug use, and the fragile nature of the human mind, presented through a darkly comedic thriller lens.
Through the story of an aspiring screenwriter whose night spirals into chaos after unknowingly consuming a rare drug—pulling him into a web of hallucinations, crime, and intersecting lives. At its core, it reflects the idea that the human mind, when altered, can become both a playground and a prison, where imagination, fear, and reality collapse into one, revealing how easily control can be lost.

ABOUT
Pranesh’s upcoming short film, Good Thief, is currently in the scripting stage. This art-driven coming-of-age drama explores themes of pseudo-communalism, humanity, and national sensitivities, examining how identity and prejudice are shaped within fragile social structures.
Through the story of a helpless thief living near the Indo-Pak border, whose acts of survival are misjudged within a politically charged environment, the film navigates the emotional cost of societal division and moral labeling. The film questions the idea of morality itself — whether a man is defined by his actions, or by the circumstances that leave him with no other choice.
